      • non-personal static/dynamic IP address. If your ISP has the same public IP address for a range of users (eg. for your office, building, etc.), you don't have an easy way to receive notes over the Internet. We recommend you to contact your ISP to try to resolve the problem.
If you don't know your IP address, you can:

      • use different IP tests.
      • use a command-line utility ipconfig
      Syntax: ipconfig [/all]
ipconfig /all : Displays the full TCP/IP configuration for all adapters. Without this parameter, ipconfig displays only the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway values for each adapter. Adapters can represent physical interfaces, such as installed network adapters, or logical interfaces, such as dial-up connections.

  • If you change the port number in the Network Settings, you need to provide your friends with the new port number so they use it while sending notes to you. If you send a note to somebody who has changed program's listening port in Network Setting, you must specify the current port number the recipient is using.

If you want to make changes in Administrative tools, you have to enter the administrative password. The number of PC sticky notes you can create is limited in Administrative tools. If number of notes for Guest account is not zero, any user is able to create new notes by Guest account and work with Guest notes without password (Guest notes have low security level).
    • High security level
This program security level is appropriate for one-person use. If you want to create new sticky notes, work with locked notes or make changes in Administrative tools, you have to know the administrative password. The number of sticky notes you can create is limited in Administrative tools (not more than it is set for Admin account).

This protects your notes from system failures and lets your revert to an older version of your notes database when necessary. For your convenience notes database backup file name consists of the date and time of creation (format of file name YYYY-MM-DD--HH-MM-SS, eg. 2004-10-10--01-02-03).
Using "Autobackup" Capacity you can select how many *.dat files backups may be stored at the same time. If number of *.dat files backups exceeds the Autobackup capacity, the oldest *.dat files will be removed.

I tried to register MoRUN.net Sticker with Temporary registration information and got the message: "Temporary Registration has expired". What's wrong?
It could be several reasons you have problems with temporary registration:
  • Check the system date - it should be the current date.
  • Make sure you enter Date to the Date field (in Temporary registration window) from the e-mail with temporary registration information (not leave the current date that appears in the Temporary registration window by default).
If your trail hasn't expired yet, you can wait for Complete Registration information. Complete Registration information will be sent you after your credit card is processed within 1-3 business days.
